The fabulous new marina opened in June and has become an overnight success with visitors. It is open from early morning until late at night. It is approximately 10 minutes walk from the main town and it’s a MUST visit for everyone day or night. There is parking and valet parking but is aware parking at night is often difficult outside the marina.
The complex itself is simply stunning and beautifully designed with spectacular views, relaxation and sophistication in mind. The yachts alone in the marina are breathtaking to see and dream of owning!
As you wander around the vast open complex the marina is divided into The Bazaar and Old Town. The winding walkways displaying a collection of vintage cars on one side and luxury yachts on the other perfect for that photo shot.
Shopping at the marina is a great experience whether to buy or browse. It caters for all pockets with an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants. Within the Marina there is a supermarket, shoe shops, boutiques, home wares, electronics, and gift stores to name a few. Then there is the upmarket designer shops where you can shop at Armani have a pair of shoes made to measure or treat yourself to something from Madam Coco followed by luxury caviar and hand made Vakko chocolates; all can be bought at a price in this fabulous marina, but don’t worry the marina is not only for the rich and famous!
The numerous cafés and restaurant’s through out the complex offer that perfect stop for a coffee, drink or something to eat. Try The Cookshop, Dolce Pattersiere, Mezzalua, Kitchenette or numerous others all intermingled amongst the shops and walkways. For evening dinner there is a great selection of places to eat including the world famous Cipriani, Nusret Steak House, Loft and for fish lovers Sait is not to be missed; all these restaurants have spectacular views overlooking the bay. There is definitely something for everyone, whatever your taste, at prices to suit all budgets.
Want to chill out in comfort and perhaps spot someone famous as you top up your tan? Then head to the ‘Loft Beach Bar‘ which has an amazing infinity pool surrounded by sun loungers nestled on the edge of the bay, overlooking the Aegean sea. It’s a full day out kind of place and it costs approximately 100tl per person to get in.
Once the day is over the marina comes alive for the ‘party people’ at Palmarina with the world famous Billionaires Club, situated on the edge of the bay in the Old City which is open Thursday – Sunday till late. If you want to be seen and spot famous people Billionaires Club is definitely the place to be. A word of warning take your wallet if you want to party the night away, it’s not cheap!
