If you are staying in Kissimmee its very likely that you won’t stray much further than the theme parks and Highway 192 for an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. However, if you drive just a few miles east down the 192 you will find historic Downtown Kissimmee that offers a much slower pace of life.

When holidaymakers choose Florida, and Orlando/Kissimmee in particular, as their holiday destination, they tend to land up and spend the next few weeks trekking around the World famous theme parks, shopping in designer outlet malls, eating in diners and generally living the life of a tourist in one of the most popular holiday destinations on the planet.
