‘Turkish Republic Day’ 29th October 2012
On the 29th of October each year Turkey celebrates the anniversary of the declaration of the Turkish Republic in 1923. Locals gather in every city for street parties, fireworks and performances. Why not take a trip to Bodrum and join in the celebrations!

‘Feria de Fuengirola’ 6th– 12th October 2012
The Fuengirola Fair is one of the biggest events on the Costa del Sol and seems to get bigger and bigger every year. The fair is held on the fairground right in the middle of Los Boliches and Fuengirola and it is easy to reach by public transport (the train station is very close by.) The fair kicks off on the 6h October with an impressive fireworks display. Locals dress in traditional Spanish dress and you can catch lots of events throughout the week, from flamenco shows to horse drawn carriage displays. You can sample delicious food and drink from one of the many ‘casetas’ that are erected for the event and you can party well into the evening. This is an event not to be missed!
