Kissimmee Veranda Palms

Soak Up the Sunshine in Kissimmee

Florida is known as America’s ‘Sunshine State’, famed for having over 300 days of sunshine a year.  Kissimmee is the perfect place to experience all that Florida has to offer; with easy access to the many theme parks, hundreds of restaurants; golf courses; shopping malls and many areas of natural beauty to explore.

One of the top listed resorts in the Kissimmee area is Veranda Palms.  Veranda Palms Resort is located just off Highway 192, within easy reach of all of these attractions and amenities.  Discover all that this wonderful family resort and the surrounding area has to offer and book your dream Florida holiday today!

Check out the New Clubhouse with Pool and Gym

Summer 2017 saw the opening of the brand new clubhouse with resort-style pool, children’s splash pool and play area, fully equipped gym and a lounge area.  All guests staying on Veranda Palms have full access to these facilities, free of charge.

Visit Downtown Kissimmee and Take a Trip Back in Time

Most people associate holidays in the Orlando area with Disney World, shopping malls and diners.  Of course there are plenty of those things to visit, but there is also a lovely part of Kissimmee that many people do not realise is there.  The Historic downtown area looks like a sleepy town from 100 years ago, with antique shops, cafes and a beautiful waterfront park.  It’s well worth a visit to escape the crowds.

Shingle Creek Nature Reserve

Shingle Creek Nature Reserve it just 50 metres from Veranda Palms, and is accessible through a gate at the rear of the resort (behind the clubhouse.)  Over recent years this lovely nature reserve has had lots of investment in it and it now has a ‘Pioneer Village’ you can visit to discover more about how Kissimmee residents lived before modern times.  It is also a great place to run, walk or kayak around its peaceful waterways. Kayak can be hired in the park.

Restaurants within Walking Distance of Veranda Palms

Unusually for an Orlando resort, Veranda Palms is within walking distance of a handful of restaurants and diners on Highway 192, so if you want to take a stroll out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and leave the car at home you can enjoy typical American fayre in these local restaurants.

To view more informational blogs about Kissimmee and the surrounding areas click here.

We have a fantastic selection of homes on Veranda Palms available for holiday rental. Here are a few of our favourites:

Now guests and homeowners on the resort have the added bonus of a brand new clubhouse with large communal pool; children’s pool with waterslides and activities; a fully equipped gym with cardio and weights facilities; and a wonderful lounge area where you can simply relax, or socialise with your neighbours on the resort.  All of these faciilities are included in your Veranda Palms holiday rental.
