Now that everyone has iPads and tablets you no longer have to endure the boredom of the usual in-flight entertainment when you go on holiday. Re-runs of Only Fools and Horses for 3 hours can wear a little thin! It’s good to keep things fairly light-hearted when picking a film to watch on your flight, Shindler’s List is hardly likely to get you in that holiday mood and you don’t want to embarrass yourself by drying uncontrollably in public after watching ‘Marley and Me’ for the 12^th time. Here are a few suggestions of good comedy films that will keep you entertained for a few hours; just try not to laugh too loud and annoy your fellow passengers…

What’s the best part of going away on holiday? For some it’s the relaxation and the chance to kick back and forget their hectic lives at home. For others it’s a chance to experience something new. Lots of us like to explore and take in the atmosphere and the culture of the place we’re visiting. If you want to sit by your villa holiday pool, that’s fine by us too. That’s the beauty of villa holidays: they allow you to do what you like when you like. Villa holidays offer freedom and flexibility. But, if you are going to rent a holiday villa in Corfu, or are at least thinking about it, we would strongly recommend that you get out and about and see some of the wonderful sights the island has to offer.
