Akabeko

The last thing you probably expect to find on Spain’s Costa del Sol is a fabulous Japanese restaurant, but that’s exactly what Akabeko is! Located just 3 minutes’ walk from Torreblanca train station, this is a hidden gem. Akabeko is pretty informal, but for tasty, reasonably priced food with a difference you will struggle to beat it. We particularly recommend the ramen; its super delicious. Main courses are under €10, making this a great choice for a quick bite to eat.

The food served is French-style cuisine with a touch of Spanish influence. There are lots of hearty meat dishes and the Riojas on offer are a perfect accompaniment to these! They also offer a set menu for €13.50, which is fabulous value with a good choice of options for each course.
