Who wants to spend a wet hen weekend in the UK when you can fly over to Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol and enjoy hours of sun, sea and sangria. There are also some pretty fabulous activities on offer in this popular resort. Here are our top 5…
Private Salsa Classes
If you are staying in a Private Villa on your hen weekend in Fuengirola you can hire a sexy Senor to come and give you and your hens an hour salsa class in the privacy of your holiday home. If you can’t learn salsa from a Spaniard there is no hope for you…and if you are useless it’s still sure to be a good laugh!
Ride on a Jet Boat
The adrenaline junkies in your party will love this activity. Smile High Parasailing in Fuengirola marina run 20 minute, high speed rides for groups on their Flash 360 Jet Boat, the first one on the Costa del Sol. The boat can turn 360s at high speeds and this thrilling ride guarantees to get you soaked! You can also buy the photo evidence as your screaming face will be captured on camera. Head back to the marina afterwards for a nerve calming cocktail in one of the waterside bars.
Enjoy a Day at a Spa
The Nagomi Spa is located in the THB Class Reserva del Higueron Hotel in central Fuengirola. The spa has amazing facilities including a Turkish bath with bio aromas, a dynamic pool with 34 relaxing water jets, a Jacuzzi, and a heated 25m indoor pool. You can treat yourself to a massage, body treatments, beauty treatment, body wrap and much more. If you want a day of relaxation before a night on the town, or a day soothing away a hangover, this is the perfect activity for you.
Go on a Jeep Safari
What better way to explore the amazing mountains and National Parks of Andalusia than to go off-roading on a jeep safari. Safari del Sol offer a range of different packages in the Sierra de las Nieves National Park. You can go out for a few hours, or take a whole day exploring this dramatic landscape. They can also incorporate a stop in the stunning mountain village of Ronda or even take you out on a Twilight Safari where you can discover nocturnal creatures whilst sipping on Cava; magical!
Dolphin Spotting
This is definitely something you wouldn’t experience on a hen weekend in the UK. You can take a 4 hour boat trip from Fuengirola Marina and once out at sea you will be looking out for bottle nosed dolphins, striped dolphins, turtles and maybe even the odd whale if you are lucky! You can also take a dip in the sea to cool off before returning to shore. If that isn’t good enough you also get a meal on-board the boat, snacks and a constant flow of drinks so you can just sit back and soak up the sun. Click here for more information.
