The Grupog salon has been open since 1984 and is still going strong. Besides the fact that I love to use their services, it’s obvious that they are popular with many locals and holidaymakers too. To top this, they offer services for both the ladies and men, believing everyone should have the opportunity to look good. On your first visit your hairdresser will take his or her time looking at your face, hair colour and appearance in order to optimize your finished look.
They also use, and sell, an excellent range of professional products, including GHD, Kerastase and Revlon Professional plus some excellent treatments, along with the haircuts and styles in fashion today. You can enjoy a relaxing and refreshing scalp massage before getting that brand new look.
One of the great things is, each time you visit they seem to come up with something new and exciting in the way of a style. Prices are reasonable at from €11.80 for a wash, condition and blow dry and from €16.80 for a wash, condition and cut. For men, a wash, cut and gel/wax costs from €13. A colour, wash, conditioner and mousse costs from €25, while highlights with a wash, condition and mousse costs from €29. All prices are approximate, depending on the treatment and products used and most of the stylists do speak English.

For the full Monty in beauty treatments Vanity is the place to be. As can be seen from their name, Vanity offers not only hairstyling but also the best in nail and beauty treatments for an overall revamp.
To give an idea of the services on offer, they have a full range of hair treatments, cuts and styles, along with nail extensions, Shellac treatment and some of the best nail technicians on the coast offering services including full manicure, Shellac gel and nail extensions, costing anything from €15.00 up to €40.00.
For the hair, prices range from €12 to €30 for a wash and blow dry, depending on the length of hair. A cut costs from €12 to €32 and a perm from €48 to €72, depending on hair length.
Wax treatments are available, ranging from €4 for a top lip or chin waxing, right up to €18 for a full leg waxing.

For a professional hairdo while on holiday, Petro Peluqueros is a great option. Their stylists receive constant retraining with the Vidal Sassoon and Tony & Guy in London and other major cities to keep them on the leading edge of hair styling and colouring. The hairstylists speak English, Spanish, Dutch, French and German – important when trying to communicate what you want in the way of a hair style in a foreign country! They also cater for both men and women.
The salon itself is elegant and minimalist and prices vary, depending on your choice of hair treatment.
A cut and style for women costs €30, while for men the price is €15. A roots touch up costs between €21 and €24 and a full colour from €27 to €30. For those fancying some highlights, this costs around €36 for half the head and €49 for the full head.
