Wonderful 4 bedroom holiday villa situated on the prestigious 'Urbanisacion La Sierrezuela' near Fuengirola on Spain's Costa del Sol. The villa is tucked away behind high hedges offering lots of privacy for guests. This villa is perfect for groups of friends or families wanting all the comforts of home in beautiful surrounding. Sports fans can catch up on all the latest action on the 42 inch Bang and Olufsen TV with surround sound and full Sky Sports package! For those of you that would rather enjoy the sunshine there is plenty of room to chill out on the terrace or in the gardens before taking a dip in your private pool. Kids will also love the separate children's splash pool that is perfect for toddlers.
Impressive and comfortable holiday villa that has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard. As you approach the villa you will see how attractive and imposing it really is and the inside just gets better!
On the ground floor there is a large living room with 3 big sofas seating up to 8 guests. For those of you that love gadgets you will not be disappointed with the impressive 42 inch Bang and Olufsen TV with built in DVD player and 5.1 dolby surround sound with sub woofer speaker. This room is perfect for cosy evenings spent in the villa and sports fans will be able to catch all the latest action as the villa has Sky TV with the full sports package. Large windows surround the room and look out onto the terrace and gardens.
Double doors lead from the living room through to the kitchen/dining area. This room is perfect for socialising while you prepare meals! The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped and there is a breakfast table to seat 4/6. There is also a 28 inch TV in the kitchen so that you can watch TV while you cook. For those wanting to chill out and watch others do all the hard work there is another lounge area in this room with a large comfortable corner sofa.
All the living areas look into a central ‘garden’ which has a pretty water feature and adds a feeling of calm to the house.
There are 4 bedrooms in the villa; 3 of the rooms are located on the ground floor. There are two doubles room on this floor both with terraces, one has en-suite bathroom, and Double Sofa bed (suitable for 2 small children). The other room is a twin bedroom (with terrace) ideal for children. All rooms have plenty of storage space and are air conditioned. There is a sofa Bed in the master bedroom suitable for 2 children sharing parents room, meaning that the villa can accommodate 10guests if there are children.
The family bathroom is located on the ground floor close to the twin rooms and there is a further guest WC on this level.
On the first floor you’ll find the large master bedroom with super king size bed, en-suite, TV and access on to a private balcony.
The lower ground floor houses a small gymnasium with shower and toilet facilities.
Outside the villa is beautiful with well manicured gardens offering complete privacy for guests. There is a shaded terrace close to the house with good quality outdoor sofas and a dining table with 8 chairs. There is a BBQ for your use and you can enjoy music piped from the stereo system inside the house while you dine. There are also ceiling fans to keep you cool whilst relaxing on the terrace.
The gardens provide lots of space to run about and the pool is perfect for enjoying a cooling dip. There is an outdoor shower and separate children’s pool that is great for small children to splash around in. Pool lights come on automatically at night.

A charming well presented Villa with a total of 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, large open plan living rooms and terraces, lots of outdoor space, fantastic views and a big private pool - Villa SP403, Valtocado, Mijas (Sleeps 8)
Set in a large plot, this location is truly special with a grand view of the Mediterranian Sea. Sheltered surroundings and a lush garden overlooking Fuengirola, the see and the Mijas mountains (with excellent hiking opportunities).
The swimming pool is a great size with easy access into the shallow end via Roman steps. A heated pool is available if ordered.
The villa is equipped with WiFi internet and a 58” satellite TV with a lot of channels and films (in many languages), Netflix, etc.
There are two large open plan living rooms with French doors that lead out onto the spacious terrace- and pool-aerea, There is a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining room and terraces with several sitting groups. This is a perfect villa for families and family-groups who like to spend time splashing in the pool, relaxe on the terrace or simply staying out in wonderful surroundings.
The kitchen in the villa is traditional Andalusian in style, but it is fitted with all mod cons. There is a breakfast table with seating in the kitchen, and a lovely dining room with seating for 8 and double doors out to the terrace. On the terrace there are more tables; some under a sheltered roof to provide shade if preferred. This is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the beautiful view.
All bedrooms and the living room are air conditioned,
On the upper floor there is a king size air conditioned bedroom with two balconies and a private bathroom with shower, double washbasins, WC and a bathtub,
This big room has, in addition to the main double bed, two extra single beds, suitable for adults or children, witch makes it a perfect family room.
A baby cot and high chair are also available, if needed.
The two air conditioned sleeps on the first floor have separate balconies and double beds (one can be seperated). They share one bathroom with double washbasins, shower, wc and bidét.
There is a large washing-room in the cellar with washbasin, washing machine, tumble dryer and iron.
The outside of this villa really is very special, very private and surrounded by lush gardens. There are several outdoor seating areas, in sunshine or shade, to relax in and enjoy the grand view of the Mediterranian Sea, Fuengirola and the Mijas mountains.
There are driveway parking for several cars.
In the nearby mountains there are many tracks with excellent hiking opportunities.
The charming nearby village, Mijas Pueblo, with its pretty cobbled streets, whitewashed buildings and lots of restaurants and shops to choose from, is only a five-minute drive from the villa.
If you want to hit the beach, Fuengirola’s miles of sandy coastline, restaurants and shops, are only 15 minutes’ drive away.
There are numerous golf courses within a 20 minute drive of the villa.
The towns of Malaga or Marbella are accesible within a 30-45 minutes drive.
Malaga Airport is a 30 minutes’ drive away.

There were 7 of us here (4 adults, 3 kids) and we had plenty of space. The way the villa is laid out means when the kids are in bed they can’t hear any noise from the patio / living area which was great for us in the evenings with music etc.

Where to start? As soon as we drove up the drive we knew we'd picked a winner and it only got better once we got inside the villa. It was immaculate in every room - very clean, well presented and well equipped with everything needed for a self catesee more
Where to start? As soon as we drove up the drive we knew we'd picked a winner and it only got better once we got inside the villa. It was immaculate in every room - very clean, well presented and well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday - we've stayed in villas before that didn't even have tea towels - villa Melacoton had an abundance of tea towels!! The music system was an added bonus which pleased our teenagers as was the piano which was great for our 17 year old piano playing son.
The pool and gardens were fantastic and we spent many hours playing volley ball or just lounging on the sun loungers. There was a big supermarket just about a 5 minute drive away with a smaller shop about a 20 minute walk. We spent a fun filled day at the water park which was about 10 minutes away and the village of Mijas about 20 minutes away - we spent our first and last evening there dining at the 'Secret Garden' restaurant on our last night which was lovely. A couple of minor negatives is that although the website states that all bedrooms have air con, the three ground floor bedrooms are only benefited by air con that is situated in the hallway which meant that people in those bedrooms had to keep their doors open to feel the effect. Also the fifth bedroom which is situated in the basement adjacent to the garage on the lower ground floor, didn't have air con and smelt very musty. If you only need the four bedrooms of the villa then I would say definitely stay there. It's lovely and we all declared it the 'best villa we've ever stayed in' - and we've stayed in a few!!!! |
